The V source HNĐD (Hán Nôm Đa Dụng, 1983) just gives a handwritten character next to a different typeset character. We do not consider that the handwritten characters in this source are acceptable evidence. We recommend that handwritten characters from this source are not accepted for encoding without additional evidence of actual use in printed texts.

Not sure what “printed text” means in the above comment. Hán Nôm Đa Dụng is a printed text and can be purchased in many stores in Vietnam. Each numbered entry is originally “handwritten”, the Hán character using a brush and the Nôm character to the left using a pen. The Nôm is a gloss on the Hán. Both are written very clearly, so there is no need for further evidence.
