⿱乖一 probably comes by an improper analogy with 乗/乘 and can be seen in many printed books since Ming dynasty:

I have to comment that the evidence 春慶寺建之 is my photo, taken in 草堂寺, Xi'an, Shaanxi, rather than Tokyo. I guess it is written by a Chinese inscriber.
