IVD to 氓 (U+6C13) or 𭯰 (U+2DBF0).
The majority of characters submitted by TCA that we reviewed are epigraphic forms of existing encoded characters that are listed in catalogues of epigraphic character forms used in stone and bronze inscriptions, such as Bēi Biézì Xīnbiān 碑別字新編 and Piānlèi Bēi Biézì 偏類碑別字. We do not consider that it is appropriate to encode these variant forms of characters without additional evidence of actual use in printed texts. We recommend using IVD to represent epigraphic, calligraphic and ancient forms of existing encoded characters if there is no evidence of actual use in printed texts. We have flagged 174 of the characters submitted by TCA as requiring additional evidence of actual use in printed texts.
