Comment #11530 shows this character is used for one geographic name as a mountain in one place named “Honam”. I guess “Honam” means 河南. 河南 reads [hɔ¹¹ nam¹¹] in Hakka (Meixian), and ho4 nam4 in Cantonese. (Note that “Honam” means 湖南 in Korean, and 河南 is “Hanam” in Korean.)

I tried to research the similar character 咸 and 山 in Henan Province, but failed. There is one 贤山 in 河南省信阳市浉河区, but 贤 reads as [hian¹¹] in Hakka, not [ham¹¹].

I found the geographic names as 河南 in 梅州市兴宁市 and 梅州市蕉岭县. On the other hand, the old name of 广州市海珠区 is also 河南.
