Could we have more evidence?

Based on my Comment #10462 and the new evidence on Comment #10588, the meaning of this character must be related to 孵 (to hatch; to sit on eggs), but I realized it is not the variant of 孵 when I read more pieces of evidence on Comment #10591.

It reads [pu³³] in 福建三明 (汉语闽中方言), [bu²³⁻⁴⁴] in 上海 (汉语吴方言), [mu⁴²] in 莆田 (汉语莆仙方言), that means it just means to hatch, and the corresponding Cantonese word is bou6, which is often written as 菢, 𣭀, 𣭚 and so on, so the Putonghua reading (or Chinese Mandarin-dialect) should be bào not fū.

The reading used in 宁德 should be [pou¹¹]. The phonology follows the following reference.
